Frequently asked questions

Is the embed really free?

Yes. The puzzle widget is free for libraries, schools, teachers, bloggers and any other site. There is no sign-up, no API key and no usage limit.

Does the embed track my visitors or show ads?

No. The widget loads no ads, no analytics and no third-party scripts, and it sets no tracking cookies. It only loads the puzzle picture and the game itself from GoPuzzleGo.

Is it safe to use with children and students?

Yes. Nobody has to sign in or enter any personal information, there are no ads or purchases inside the widget, and the free pictures are family-friendly. For preschool and kindergarten, GoPuzzleGo also offers a dedicated kids area.

Does it work on LibGuides, WordPress and Google Sites?

Yes. Any platform that accepts an HTML iframe works: paste the code into a LibGuides Media/Widget box, a WordPress Custom HTML block, or Google Sites › Embed › Embed code.

Do I have to add the credit link?

No, the credit line is optional. If you keep it, it helps other teachers and librarians find the free puzzles.

Can I choose a different picture?

Yes. Open any free puzzle on GoPuzzleGo and use its Embed button to get the code for that picture, with your own piece count and theme.
